into deep not to, build thread.
So. I got this round eye 79 210 coupe. Eagleadam actuly took me to where it was and brokered the deal.
Realy solid car. Was worried because it was under a huge pine, and had inches of needles all over it.
Me and the guest drove it back to adams, bad shimmy, but I figured I knew what was up.
Its a later b210 a14 and b210 dogleg 63a trans.
Was hoping for a different 5 speed since this one is a monster, and the end game was to sell or trade the 210 off, after I put a 4 speed in it.
But im starting to like it. And we had an adventure today.
Cleaned up ok.

Re: into deep not to, build thread.
So I had this.... and we can all agree... its not swaggy...
So a quick trip to harbor freight. To get my swag on.
Bam, good for swagging up to level six, since Im just begging to swag it should be just fine.
So I chucked up my swagger and got my swag on.
Swag
Swagged to the next level, Swag swag
cant just do the back... so I went Swag(to the third power)
And just to keep the numbers even, I busted out the vacuum and swagged the swaggy swag I had swagged
Swag!

Re: into deep not to, build thread.
Now rolling my 210, being a total freakin swagget, I was headed to the datstock....didnt make it, drive line started woblin hard, and actuly broke at the the front ujoint.
So I got a quick dolly save frome datsunmom and hit the garage, headed straight to driveline corner.
B210 and 210 drive shafts are non replaceable ujoints... so luckily I keep the stack aroun.
Couple of good canidates, since im.dealing with a 63a I had to use either a auto yoke, or an lseries yoke, because there the same.
No idea wich shaft is wich lol
But it took a few patched together to get the right combo for the coupe.
Turned out perfect. Win for hoarding parts!

Oh yeah.... the exaust....
Well just look at the pics verry closely....
And never forget, check the exaust when you get a car...
But in my defence ... it was wrapped up in aluminum foil and glue.... so I could see it....

My Datsuns, like good friends, have never let me down. At least in any way that was not understandable and thus fixable.

That is probably the worst welding I have ever seen. And I am not that great
Thumbs up to whomever for doing that, and then letting someone else see it. Brave souls.

Re: into deep not to, build thread.
in the fight of bailing wire and shitty welding vs. a c clamp to hold it onto the exhaust mani and an entirely useless tip...ya, you might have just won lol.

Re: into deep not to, build thread.
Its ok, because each shitty weld was wrapped in aluminum foil, and the bailing wire.
Well its ok because it fell off the stock down pipe. And will not go back on.
