Truck is rough. Flywheel needs to be replaced and could use a carb tune up. Runs and drives. L-20b with 134,xxx original miles. Has an matchbox dizzy, between 150 and 160 Psi in all cylinders (that was before I adjusted the valves). Runs without overheating. Bring a battery and you could drive it home if local, or drive it up on the trailer.
Sold this truck to a guy in Seattle, delivered and he backed out because of concern that the shimmy in the flywheel caused damage to the automatic transmission. Pull the motor for your datsun project and scrap the body for a few bucks. $440 for the complete truck.

I found an 80 720 that runs good, I may be scoring it for almost nothing. Be a good swap for the 620..... disc brakes ftw

If there is a shimmy I doubt it's the flex plate. They weigh almost nothing to begin with, maybe a few pounds. L20B FLYWHEELS weigh from 21 to 29 pounds depending if car or truck.
Does it shimmy sitting still or when driving?

My Datsuns, like good friends, have never let me down. At least in any way that was not understandable and thus fixable.

It doesn't shimmy when driving... it does during start up and while in park.
I could fix and sell for more, but the bed is kinda rusty and will need a windshield. Makes a better donor truck at this point, and don't feel like hauling it back from Seattle.
