That 2 door is running a 185/45/15. 14s are getting harder to find that small, but, a 185 60 would fit better, a 175 60 would have alittle stretch, might help. All depends on what sizes you can find.

185/60/14 is the size I would run on a 510 with 14s. That will help a lot with your issues.

is it not possible for the tires that I'm running now to be able to tuck or something of the sort?
I don't really want to tuck but the rear coilovers get pretty low and don't go too high :/

They look like 510 smog carbs with deletion plates.
I have never had a set with that vacuum idle control.
They might be fine, they might be crap, it kinda depends on who is selling them, and if they good stuff or crap.
Is dirttrack510 selling these?

Just because they are smog carbs doesn't mean anything, there is no difference if serviceable. :)

If you have any disposable money, go for it, but 3 years is a long time to be on a shelf.
They look basically complete, you will need a dual choke cable, and they are expensive unless you fab up a used Z car one out of a wrecking yard.
As I said, none of my dual SU setups have that vacuum idle control, and I have no issues.

Do you need a choker cable because I'm not running one on my car atm.
So is the idle control a plus? Well from the name, it seems to be if it's an idle control . lol
I'm gonna go for it. wish me luck man.

Mine will not start without a choke cable, and these are special choke cables, they have two cables operated by one knob.
Look at this link, it is a generic cable, and it's $150.00

Here is another link to all the cables.

You can make Zcar cables work, you just have to fab up an interior mount, you can likely get one for less than $20.00 from a wrecking yard if you can find one.
I also have thought about making a choke setup that will work with a single choke cable, you just have to fab some linkage up to make it work.

Jacob doesn't use a choke as far as I know, but he maybe is running his carbs richer, fact is I don't know how he gets it started, but it does start, because I see him driving it.

I'll have to ask him.
Once again, the worst part is not being near a damn yard...
For an interior mount, I can just use where my push to start is. or just make a hole and do it nicely somewhere.

Either way, this is still a buy in my opinion. If it goes well, even better.
I'm just hoping.

My old choker cable was broken. lol

Zcar choke cables for the dual SUs are not like roadster cables, Zcar cables are more like old 10 speed bike shifter levers, and I believe they are mounted in the center console of the Zcars, not on the dash.
They work like a lawn mower speed control, all the way forward is fast, all the way back is off.
