Site down times

We seem to be having some site down times?
Tim or Jacob you guys know whats up?

I haven't had a problem. Or at least that I've seen.
Been super busy with Xmas time right around the corner.


Tim and Jacob have done awesome time so far with the entire site.
I'm sure it will be figured out quickly.

Is it when you get kicked from the chat? Cause that's the side effect.

I think it may be,but when it does have to close all windows and sometimes wait for 5 to 20 minutes

I don't close anything, I just try refreshing every once in a while till it works, or it starts working on it's own, I know when it's working, cause it doesn't blip at me anymore.
I am talking about the whole site, not just chat.

I have to close everything.And its not when on proxy,that was one of the first things i tried

Down times:

From what I have observed, it stems from the chat. It knocks you off the site for a bit, though not normally more than 30 secs. If you wait you can refresh and be signed in again. I havent tried closing my browser and opening it again, though I doubt it will do anything as I believe its server side.

Try not using the Chat, and maybe even stay off of the main page.

I think it was related to the chat, or to the site style. I switched over to a different style and haven't had any issues since, except when logged out... But I think that's due to the style... I've had a bit going on and really haven't been here but for a few minutes in the last week. This month sure does suck up a lot of time

The update screwed up the system, the backup didn't backup... Had ot copy and paste an old system Chat will be back asap. Lost a lot I'm afraid. (also lost reputation for the time being.)

I will see about getting chat back up and running, but might have to wait for Jacob to get home tomorrow

reputation and chat is back, fuck updates Next time I am going to backup the site a different way, via downloading to my PC, so i can fix it if it breaks.

goto the home page, and hit Ctrl-F5 and do a full refresh

Everything should be back, I disabled the Proformell style. It has a lot of issues and isn't that compatible with mods such as chat and reputation.... This will be the default style for now. Need to do some fixing.. But I am not going to update the server for a while. It can stay at what it is now, or jacob can do it
