Re: Sunny pics!
This one was at the auction a couple years ago. Pretty much stripped/gutted and rough. PnP paid $75 for it. Later, I bought a door hinge and a turn signal switch from it.

Re: Sunny pics!
This one was sitting in a field just up the hill (South) from Clarkston, Wa. a couple years ago. I posted it in a spotted thread and 420n620 went and found the owner. I guess the clutch went out and while they were towing it home they hit a mailbox which took out the grille and windshield. IIRC the asking price was either $400 or $600.

Re: Sunny pics!
My great grandpa bought that boat out of a Montgomery Wards catalog in about 1955 and he built the trailer. My dad inherited it when he died. The photo was probably taken in 1978(?) and my parents had the 1200 until around '86 or '87. I traveled a bunch of miles in the back of that car.

Re: Sunny pics!
You guys should check with Doug (morrisun). He has a bunch. That's where my parts car and all my stuff went after I sold my silver car.

Re: Sunny pics!
I talked to Morrisun. And had a deal worked out on a 1200 coupe. One day I received an email saying it was on the back burner for 6 months. Tried calling / emailing him since but no response. Talked to Exit64 and he hasn't heard from him in a while either. Not sure what's going on with him.

Re: Sunny pics!
Both 1200s. I had 4 at the time. The one on the left was being sold to my brother. The one on the right was a parts car. It was complete (minus the carb) and really straight and solid. The drivetrain from the scalloped car eventually went into an L320. The rest was sold to a guy who wanted the rear panel from one and the front apron from the other. The scalloped car was actually driven into the shop to pull the engine by sitting on the roof with my legs through the windshield.510freak wrote:DRIVEN wrote: Poor little 1200

Re: Sunny pics!
always wondered if that 1200 is still sitting up in Anatone. Guess it's time for a road trip. I'll report back what I find out.DRIVEN wrote:This one was sitting in a field just up the hill (South) from Clarkston, Wa. a couple years ago. Re: Sunny pics!
Decided to scan some more of these. These are all original black and white advertising prints.
Also I have this book which discusses the whole Sunny line from 1000-1400 mainly focused on the B210. Unfortunately all in Japanese and I haven't gotten around to scanning it in yet. I've never seen another copy of it though.
