Sorry. Critical misprint,. I ment +18, +23 is for a stock 12x4 inch wheel.

And it may take a small grind with some pads, ive ran these wheels before without having to grind the caliper at all.and after the.pads are broke in they.seem.to have plenty clearence, my point was even if you bolt a wheel on that seems to fit, take the fact the caliper moves into consideration.

Ah, lets start this over, your stock wheels should be 12x4 +30. Wich is about 3.75 back spacing. If you stick with a wheel that has close to 3.75" backspacing you should be fine. So that translates to a 13x6 inch wheel to a +12 or +15 (did the math in my head, and estamated a few things that are common but could be different on every set of wheels) so my +18 wheels rubbed with new pads. The stock tire is 570mm, a 175 60 13 is 240mm on a 5 inch wide wheel, so that should be great.

HI

I ve two set of 12" whells:

The original one 12*4 (Tyres 155/70)
The alloy whells 12 175/70 tyres (this whells touch the brake caliper that i ve cut it)

im From Portugal city of Lisbon, you are correct the stock whells have 12*4 +30, i dont measure the backspace but i ill and must be 3.75.

Ok, let me me know if i understand:
So if i found a new whell 13*6 offset beteween from +12 to +15 which represents a backspace 3.75 i can use 175/60 tires

and i have no problem and they dont touch the brake caliper. If touch i had cuted it.

Many thanks

I will see on ebay something with this measures

Luis, I would have to say these will fit, esspecualy after hearing you shave the caliper already. The tires my rub the foot well on full lock turning, and you may need to sligtly roll the inner fender lip.

Have you lowered your car? If so there me be some slight rubbing, but nothing you couldnt take care of yourself with verry little effort.

With all the little tiny variables in parts from country to country, you may have a little more, orlittle less rubbing than an american car would. Just cant be 100 percent sure of anything without getting the tape measure out, and doing a little math.
If you had a rim with no wheel, you could measure clearence from that wheel. Thats really the only way tp be 100 percent certian

Hi

I take the measures chassis offset of my Datsun 1200 2 Dr sedan, and i have:
face measure 60mm
back measure: 109mm

with this measurements i can use 13*6 whells 175/60 tyres offset +23mm

6"=152.40
centerline 152.40/2= 76.20
76.20+23=99.20
76.20-23=53.20

face measure 60-53.20=6.80 clearance between fender and whell
back measure 109-76.20= 32.80 clearance between wheell and coil

+18 mm offset

76.20-18=58.20

76.20+18=94.20

face measure 60-58.20=1.80mm
back measure 109-94.20=14.80

Please inform me if i am thinking wright? I can use +18 and +23mm offset?

I will take bettet the measures...

Many thanks

Miguel

Hi

Anybody knows the official measures for Datsun 1200 front chassis offset.

According with some opinions whells 13*6

OFFSETS from +8mm to 18mm fits Datsun 1200 with no problem but i want choose +18mm without problems. (i ve cutted a litle the height caliper)

I made my measures and they fit, but i could make an measure error but next weekend i ill make another time
