I think I see the root of the problem. Here, I am the newest member at 228 total. Ratsun? 17,973 total members. I said it a while back and I said it again recently, close the floodgates. No new membership for a while on Ratsun. Realistically, even though it's the Internet, it's just like a big convention center. Do you want the nice private room in the back with 500 or less of your best buds, or do you want the giant arena with 17,000 seating capacity. With more people comes more problems, etc. Ratsun has gotten quite big, in fact, too big. I may well post here more because a lot of times it has lost that personal feel it used to have in it's infancy. And I for one, donated to keep Ratsun going after we ran out of server space. I always felt accounts should be purged after a year of non-activity (unless deployed or something), which would limit the amount of excess crap because even with 17,000 members, you know there are probably less than 1000 who actually post on a regular basis.
Now, the other thing is we don't have quite the wealth of knowledge perhaps on a forum this small. But then again that might not be true. Oh, and there's no spot for Datsun21s on here.
(I'm kidding, not suggesting we start a topic area for it, I'll be the only one there.)
And sorry Keith, I don't have that picture anymore. I could probably find it, but then they might delete my photophucket account for the ensuing ass-magedon.
