Re: Jacobs goon build
It was just the body shop across the street from my work. They always store cars in my shop for dry/safe storage. The guy is some 50 year old guy. Said he used to drive 510s way back in the 70s. Makes me feel good to help him too, as he got to pocket the money, money after Christmas is always nice.
Anyways, he told me, the bottom of the front end was over to the passenger side 3/4" and the top was over 1".
I am so happy! The was the hurdle to getting the car back on the road.

Update?

Not really. My headlight is closer to being one piece again...
Bake the glass off (400 degrees at 10 minutes, doesnt work with white glue)
Unbolt the projector
Cut the chrome trim off.
And trim what is left until the new projector "fits"

Re: Jacobs goon build
Been doing house work... Bleh. I want to paint this week....
Anyways, I ordered 4 Hankook V2 Concept 195/50/15 tires today. They will be at my shop tomorrow. My cost, $230.
They have a 500 A-A UTQG rating... eh. They are going on the Rikens, make a good winter tire.
Now to get them mounted and balanced....

Mmm Tires.
Hey, look at that, the tire rating is higher than listed...
Tread looks like tread... At least I dont like the wheels they are going on...
And this made me laugh, "New Tuner Generation"
Getting installed tomorrow. Probably by whats is the cheapest price in town...

Re: Jacobs goon build
Lol....I can't wait to see the Rikens. I know your not having the best feelings towards them considering why your using them in the first place. But it's good to see your car getting back on the road...once you start driving it again it won't matter what's on it.

Yea I know. They are wheels I have. I also have a ZX 6 spokes. So it was like, which wheels do I buy tires for... At the end of the day, these will be winter wheels. And my weds will come back staggered (15x7 front, 15x8 rear), with either Yoko S drives or Dunlop Direzzas.
