Re: 521 owner here
It is a 5 speed transmission conversion mount for the 521, so you can mount a dogleg, or even a longshaft 5 speed in your 521, I made it to use the 720 transmission mount.
I did a write up on it, here is a link.

Re: 521 owner here
I think you shouldn't paint that timing cover like you did on this 18 you left here.
lulz
I brought my tools home tonight.
May just tear into the Z22 myself.
It's that or clean the kitchen.
If I do all the engine work-nothing left except for you to clean!

Re: 521 owner here
got the z22 home from Flatcats place.
Here you can see #3 cylinder wall, fucked. along with #4. both 3 and 4 pistons are also fucked.
The pistons don't rock back and forth on the pin like they should.
I'll take more picture here soon.

I'll make a 6'x20' spot in my garage if that helps.

Re: 521 owner here
Ha! If only the boat was gone.
But again the boat isn't mine, I don't think he'll ever want to sell that thing.
On a Datsun note. I may have scored some 521 doors for just 50 bucks.
Hoping I can check them out tomorrow. If no rust then I'll buy. I have pictures too and they don't look beat up.

Re: 521 owner here
That's why I'm just going to look at them, they aren't to bad in the photo. Dusty if anything, and a few dents that I'm not to worried about. When cant I use new doors!!! Why wouldn't I want more doors.
