No. I'm just jealous because yours hasn't been spray bombed with cheap-ass gray dollar store paint like mine was.

Re: Phantom Top GooN....AKA The Crow Wagon
Ok, been busy trouble shooting a few things... Carb was running with the choke open a tad bit. (I hate Electric chokes), then when testing the trans doing a stall test, the rear wheel was sticking afterwards. Pulled off the drums and found both Rear Wheel Cylinders were FROZEN. I thought the brakes felt a little firm. I got them both out and got one freed up...but the other one is DONE! Will have new ones at the parts store in the AM(Today). The zone had to order....O'reilly's had them in stock..Both places $12.99 each.
Install wheel cylinder and change all brake fluid while I'm at it. I also got a full wash in before the rain.
That passenger mirror will be going Bye, Bye...mount a stock mirror on the drivers side...and wink mirror inside. Also change out those 620 Front marker light for 510 ones.
Tires look decent, but old and one has a slow leak, so something about the same size will need to be found. Also got all the locking lugs off.
Also threw in some seat-belts...Non-retracting 3-point from a 74 620...
Will be addressing the attempt of custom seat brackets by PO...Possibly different seats. They work for now.

Just thiiis close to being a driver. Have you considered blacking out the window frames, B and C pillars? I think it would tie the black to to the car pretty well.

Yes I told my wife about the window frames. ..... I want to do mine also.DRIVEN wrote:Just thiiis close to being a driver. Have you considered blacking out the window frames, B and C pillars? I think it would tie the black to to the car pretty well.
Been doing some tuning...got the Wheel cylinders in today. Messing with the Modulator deal on the Transmission. Neither manual I have says anything about it...Grrr I twisted in the adjustment and it seemed to help the Kick Down..Gear. a bit. Going to do some research on that tonight. Play with that and set up the choke on the Weber tomorrow.
Been doing grocery runs etc...it's running but trans is not 100% yet.
