netami thin qr?

I don't really need a qr for my daily but a friend showed me this and it's super cheap and thought it would be helpful if I went to a few bad areas.

What do you guys think? It seems to be alright...

I'm confused what you are asking about. Are you asking for opinions on quick releases? Or netami brand? Or if this will work on your 620.

I like quick releases. I don't trust a no name company for steering wheel components. Its a universal product for cars with aftermarket hubs.

I have a Momo hub, and a NRG thin quick release. To me NRG is barely an acceptable brand. Their quick releases and hubs are fine, their wheels suck. Not sure why you want a knock off.

The problems I had were completely my fault.
I'm 100% responsible for what happened because I didn't do enough research.

I just saw this as a cheap qr and for half the price of the nrg one, I don't see why not.
From the money I have returning from the hub I mistakenly ordered, I could afford this and a boss hub.

Just wanted to get some ideas on what you guys think.

but for the record, the past nrg purchases and items I've ordered have been great and they've given me no problems.

I was asking for your opinion on the qr. I don't plan to always use but I drive near Compton and a lot of other places that aren't that great.

I wouldn't be using it much accept when I go to those areas and I was thinking it can't be too bad.

Actually once you install it, you use it any time you drive your car. You use it in the sense you trust it to give reliable feedback, and to not disconnect from driving. YMMV.

Personally, I'd forgo the QR and invest in some sort of security system. Either alarm or disable -- or both. I'm old enough to remember pullout stereos and detachable faceplates. The first time you carry part of your car around you feel cool, then it becomes a hassle, then you feel like an idiot, then you just don't bother. That's when your shit gets jacked. It always happens when you least expect it.
If theft is a concern, there's a thousand ways to disable a car. One is good, but 2 would be better.

I know that feeling because that's where I am with my dime.
But for the truck, (daily) I won't be taking it off all the time and don't think it's much so I think that the $50 knock off may be a good investment.
and the alarm systems that are around the $100-$200 price range around here are always ineffective. Not gonna waste my money, A qr at least gives me assurance.

QRs are awesome! Bring it in at night. Nice warm steering wheel in the morning!
