Re: Micro's 73 610
Last night after work, I had a few minutes to do some housekeeping.
Removed the grille..
Removed the center support...
Removed the horns...
There was some junk in the grille, stuck in the radiator, so this gave me a chance to get at it...
I figured while I was at it, I'd see how this old thing fit in there

I didn't buy it directly from the supplier. I'll get you a part number next time I'm out at my shop.

Went and looked for a part number, but didn't see one. I'll take some measurements for you next time I'm out there.

On a sad note, today I received a package in the mail. What was to be a glorious secret to everybody..

... the carnage continues...
There was not one piece of vintage, rare, precious plastic that was not laid to waste. Not one.

Wow. Packing peanuts much?
That is horrible, and I am sorry. I hope Paypal was involved, as I sure there is something about neglect to ship things safely...

Yeah. Paypal and ebay(not that ebay is much security). It's definitely a burn, but I should at least be able to get my money back. The dash was put into a box and 2 small scraps of bubble wrap were wadded up and thrown on top. Hardly appropriate for shipping across town, much less around the globe. Tragic.

Re: Micro's 73 610
The best part is that he charged me $80 for shipping, then right there on the package it says shipping was $50. Plain as day. $30 was slipped into his pocket, rather than buying any sort of packing material. Cheap bastard.

I'm not the seller, but I don't think it's too bad.MicroMachinery wrote:On a sad note, today I received a package in the mail. What was to be a glorious secret to everybody..

It should buff out,no problem...
j/k ...
It seriously sucks to see something like this. I have had my share of disappointments from stupid sellers pulling crap like you got. It takes a few buyers for these clowns to quit selling all together, or get their "excrement together". Don't let this seller get away with anything, get a full refund including the shipping!

Believe me, I plan to. He just sent me an offer to settle it for $50. Not a chance.
