Thanks.
Some people man!

That is cool everyone has a one, you just don't have to badger anyone with yours.

This would be my 10th head for a Datsun.
I did many 2 and 3TC heads growing up.
My wife says , If I wore a jacket stating all the things I did or have done no one would believe me.
I have worked many places. Some to prep me for my next job and so , on.
So working at Volvo as an oil change tech, prepped me to work at a head shop.

What I thought was really funny is, aerodynamics and engineering question.
Hahahaha!
Any way one to what's at hand.

Okay, I am convinced it does truly sound completely different.

Okay I knew my exhaust gasket section was bad when I pulled it.

But there was no black soot around the manifold or the engine there.

So why does it sound so much different?

The ports were only opened 1.4 inches. Not even totally down into the chamber.
I was thinking of polishing it later this week.
I need some more polishing compound anyway.

But that would help maybe 20% in sound change not like 50% or higher.

Like even when I am driving it down the road most of the noise I heard before is gone.
Could that be the rubberising of the whole engine bay, effect.
If it is, I will develop a proper technique, to getting the texture I want.

Because I would be sold for sure.
I can think in the car and the exhaust is not ringing my ears.

But that does not explain why the engine sounds different!

IDFK!

I am sitting here scratching my F-ing head!

Okay boys and girls!

I have installed a make shift , stereo in my car and installed two speakers in the front doors.

I did a quick install of the stereo and didn't even buy anything special.
This started when, my daughter had the option of riding with her mother or daddy.

Son of a bitch!

What my car runs better.
Almost as fast and looks cooler!
Mom drives like an Asian, cause she is!

I was like what reason do you want to ride with your mother?

She said, Radio!

I was like, I thought you like talking to me in the morning!
She said, yeah, but mom has a radio.
So that was Friday.
I went and bought a cheap deck because my old one is junk now!
I may have stepped on the face plate by accident.
I want something cheap, cause I don't trust my neighbors yet.
There is 3 tweakers near me, one of them I caught eyeballing my car last night!
I was sitting on the pouch!
I have been watching him.

It is like hanging bait in front a hungry dog.

So,I bought a Kenwood KDC-155U

She smiled from ear to ear this morning!
hahahaah!
Now where the hell is those spacers for the 10's!

She has no idea, what she started now!

Okay, I went over the whole outside of the car.

I took pictures of everything!

Every dent and ding and surface rust marked!
Anything needing a welder to fix is a 5 - 6!
Stuff with a one is like paint chips or paint cracking.
2 is stuff that needs to be grounded down to bare metal and treated and primed!

So after marking a door with a one and sanding it. It was more of a 2 than a 1. Now it needs to be wet sanded and primed. Awesome! passenger front door!

So this is what was there!

After I finished, I wiped the door down with acetone and then Denatured alcohol!

In the next picture!

You can see how much better it looks and that is white primer and sealer!

Looks much better and no more rusting

Tablet is dead so I am charging picture is on it's way and the primer is drying!
