Re: Adam's annoying ass green 620
on a progressive note!
im back to ordering parts and thinking about my build.
Picked up a new set of these
so i can actually steer my truck in and out of the garage
then i need to get a longer bolt for to replace the stock one where i had the head heli coiled
install the new cams i got
adjust the valves
slot the trans cross member
THEN i can drop it in!
once its bolted in ive recruited Laecaon to do the wiring for the swap, install the new super secret "motor swap box", and do a wiring harness tuck.
once all of thats finally done it can go out for a new one piece drive line and exhaust
hopefully i can keep my canby list short for this truck this year.........

Re: Adam's annoying ass green 620
Dual exhaust cam, Known as the 248/248 cam swap. You loose a ton of low range, a bit of mid range, and then your run out of revving before you take advantage of the cams. They would be better for Turbo, or if you were building a 8k rpm KA...
As far as Altima Cams go. Um, they arent different than stock S13 cams... Well ok the exhuast cam is timed a little retarded on the Altima, but same exact duration and lift as stock S13 exhaust. I dont get why people keep saying the Altima is an upgrade... Well I know, its an upgrade to the S14 which had 232/232 stock.

Re: Adam's annoying ass green 620
Why you studying up on KAs? Isn't a CA an upgrade over a KA anyway?
