About the seam sealer, the second will probably work just read all the info you can on it. The first one is a 2 part epoxy mix so yes you will need a new gun with it.

So I stopped by the shop my blocks at this morning, talked to the guy and told him I'm moving soon and pretty much need this by the end of the week.

He was setting everything up when I walked in the shop, he's not a bad guy, I do understand its a shop and shit can get nuts.
He told me should be done around Wednesday... We'll see..

Now.
Gasket kit for l20b, get a head gasket as well, z22s bearings..
A few new tools to put the U67 back together to swap with the cammed running U67. So another l20b gasket for the Ron's motor... Make more gaskets for SUs.

Sorry guys just wanted to have this needed stuff some where.

I'm missing stuff...

I also called Rebelloracing today and talk about about bulding the LZ2.3, told me he uses the Z24 head gaskets, something I knew but still.
Said its not that hard ha! But well see.. I still need talk with Sealik on ratsun about someppictures of his I can't view.

If anyway wants to talk about that experience of drilling the block, that would be great.

Drilling the block is cake! Place a L head gasket on the block. Notice on the passenger side there are 8 holes in the gasket, while only there is 1 tiny hole in the block near the front. You want to drill all of these holes in the gasket to the block, I used a 1/4" bit.

Then there is modifying the Z gasket, thats not the most fun.

Yeah I understand the block drilling I guess. What about the oblong odd shaped hole onthe rear of the head do iI need to make that wider on the z block... Or wait. The u67 might not have that odd hole... Can't remember right now... Thanks for the heads up on the gasket, I'll be using ARP headbolts, I also wanna get it right the first time around.
Rebello told be they use black silicone after splicing what's needed..
He also said its easier when its in front of you. Ha.

A 1/4 inch drill bit is all you need to use as Jacob mentioned, do not use anything bigger, as that is what I almost did, but once I drilled the first hole with the 1/4 inch bit, I figured out that there is only a 1/4 inch of room in there between the block sides and the cylinders inside the block.
It's to bad all of Sealiks photos disappeared, they helped me a lot.

Um, the odd shaped hole. It depends on your block... I didnt have to touch the block on the 22E block I was using. I did have to put another hole in the gasket there though.

I have the spring compressor.

Why you need new valves? U67 valves are big enough.

Valves are beat if I remember right.
Someone really ran it hard with a blown gasket. At one time...
I think most exhaust valves are caked in hard HARD build up laping over the valve onto where it lays when valve is put in the head. What's the little area called?

I Know there sould be a way to get that carbon? Or whatever it is off the valves.

There is.

You can swap valves from the other U67 over to this.
Problem solved.

Wellllllll...

I was going to clean the head up real real nice and then tell Ron I'm going to use his head cuz I know its a working head... He'll understand that...

Or just get new valves, heads already clean so I just need to put it together.
And not worry about the cammed head just get my own down the road.

Its not braking that's the problem, however it is the brakes..

You see I was keeping them all nice an tight all 4 yes.
But after I changed everything in the front I went to adjust the backs one wheel star wheel adjuster wasn't spinning any more, I was able to get it free but only enough to spin once.. Same with the other side.. One side isn't as tightvas it could be and the other is I'd say one click to tight.. So when shifting gears yes it moves a little in the rear. But all four do work, the front work great!! Just I need an alignment so i head to the right a little, and a little left when shifting.. It doesn't help when I shift fast either.

After I pick up the z22 block and know how much moneys I spent on that I'll be getting may brake parts ordered.. And lay out and take pictures of what I have and may still need like steel brake line.

I figure I know how to drive my truck, NO ONE else driver her... Things are okay...

For now.
