How much are you being charged for the seat skins? I really want to reskin my seats. At least for me, someone made a video how to install new skins.

The guys rate is $55 an hour. so i pulled the skins and will install myself. He is doing 2 seats and 2 wheel well covers with material for $250. material is like $60-70 and the rest is labor. He might not be the cheapest around, but his work speaks for itself. its beautiful. let me find a pic of some of his stuff.Laecaon wrote:How much are you being charged for the seat skins? 2 custom seat skins and wheel covers for $250 sounds good to me! I would even go so far as to refoam by myself. One day... Thanks!

I dont know if you got my txt, but if you want to join me on the next trip let me know. the guy does not let people come to his place. but ive gotten to know him well enough he said you could come up with me and look at the fenders, bumpers, or whatever else. option is not open for very many people. plus, i still havent seen his entire collection. he can be tough on prices sometime.. but if you wheel and deal a bit you'll walk away smiling.
i wont be headed up for another month or so.. just keep it in mind.

I wish that was mine izzo. That's scooter stuff's on Ratsun. I was just showing the interior work that this shop does. He will be doing my seats, and wheel covers. Maybe carpet too.

As you can see in these pictures, there is still work to be done. The fender needs to come out about another 3-6mm or so to fix the door lines. As pictured there is only one upper hinge bolt and the door striker holding the door on so the bottom door alignment can be ignored.
Next plan, 2x4's and a bottle jack to push it just a little bit more.
Photo Dump... whooores

I used a bottle jack and some wood blocks to push the fender out a little bit more.. Looking really good now.
Now, if my crossmember would get here....... I'd get it installed and on the ground. !?!???!

The tranny crossmember is here... and it's installed!!! Everything went in as expected.. T3 crossmember is pretty beefy. Do recommend.
I started stripping paint from the fender to get it ready for some filler. Not much other datto work this weekend because I received my timing belt kit for my new to me truck. I hope to get the brakes bled this week. Run it for a bit and see if there are any leaks. Go through all the important bolts and make sure they are all tight. Then.... drop this bitch like a hot potato.
Then it's body and interior until canby.......... fuck you time. Stop.
Or give me a bit more of it..... or at the very least slow down a little.
