Str8's 620 Story

Post by Str8_69 »

OK here goes...

My 77 620 that I bought from the orig owner in March 2010.

As I got it pulling in the drive.. Bone stock w/can-o-pee

Image

It had been sitting under a Pine tree collecting needles and sap.

Fug Bumper.

Image

So FFW a quick clean-up, with canopy and bumper jettison. Still gotta get rid of those mirrors...

Image

This is much better..

Next, maybe some wheels n' tires....

So I scored a set of 15" turbines offa Craigs and peeled the tires, so here's the test fit.

And with some new shoes!

Working like a good truck should...

Crappy oic at a Beaverton meet, but the first one I got sans hideous mirrors..

Image

FFW a little bit.. at this point I've detailed the engine bay a bit more, added the EL dizzy, painted up the valve cover, installed Beebani front caliper mounts with D21 calipers, 280ZX M/C, etc..

Image

Lowered 2" all around, and added Bumperettes.

Thanks fellers. I just noticed the first pic in the grille section is from when I put a 79 grille on it just to see if I liked it, but I didn't so I changed back to original. The OG grille can be seen in previous pics..

Deleting is cheating so pic stays up.
