GL-4 "yellow metal safe".

Napa or Baxters.

So some royal purple 80w 90?

I've got some 5w 30 laying around I could use that to brake in the Lz rright? Or is a different weight better to use for that. I've got some zinc additive for it.

Spending money left an right, had to get the pathfinder a new battery. For some reason my oil cooler hasn't been sent yet so I'm like wtf. For some reason it might get here the 4th of Aug, that can't happen... I sent the seller an email to see what's up? Well see where that goes...

As for the trans oil...brand doesn't matter, but you want it to be safe for the brass syncros/yellow-safe.

Somewhere there was a pic of the legit stuff to get.
Izzo was searching for yellow-safe GL4?

Royal Purple is great stuff.
But if it is not safe for the brass it will still eat it.

Right now I'm looking at redline.

I was thinking royal. Both pretty much the same price, I'll have to look at the royal purple site.
I'll stop by a napa store and see what they have as well.

Royal purple is safe on all "yellow" metals, according to their site.

Royal purple's site isn't specific enough for my liking.

Go with that Redline stuff.
StaLube was the stuff I was speaking of earlier.

This is what I read and where.

"It is non-corrosive to soft yellow metals (brass, bronze, copper, etc.) and synchronizer safe. Specially designed to extend gear and bearing life"

http://www.royalpurpleconsumer.com/products/max-gear/

but I was already thinking about getting redline.

Go redline. I have just heard too many complaints about royal purple in general.

Really cleaned the garage, put the girls quad in the bed of my truck. That way I can have more space to work on it.
Made it so I can use the cherry picker in side.

Thinking about getting this head gasket.
http://datsunpartsllc.com/cart/index.ph ... &parent=30

I have no problem trying to make one out of the Z24 hg but if I can buy one that doesn't need to be modified then I'll get it.
I guess my main concern is if it's the right thickness.

That's a deal as far as I am concerned, I think I had to make 4 of them gaskets, I was very tired of making headgaskets.
It looks like it has all the holes already also, I am thinking about getting one myself.

Almost there.
