What are you looking for?bajasdogs » Fri Jul 18, 2014 1:38 pm wrote:Hi! My name is mike and I'm new to the group and sure could use a few parts for my daily driver.
I'm going to head up and look at some vehicles (210,222) on 8/2. I'm looking to buy a few parts myself.
Well, that's the plan anyways.

Sorry I got lost on the internet! I could use a lot of parts really. A seat, back bumper pieces. Decent wind wing rubbers a choke pull button. A vent lever, Wiper Arms, A tight front axle, Brake drums, Good rear wheel cylinders, A one bbl carburetor, Battery hold down, A side mount antenna for the fender, Rear view mirror, An original radiator cap. Need I go on? A whole truck would be great! LOL! I think I have pictures uploaded on Yahoo, I'll post them soon!
Re: 1960 Datsun 221 for sale in Vancouver area
Actually this truck is only missing the seat, back bumpers, vent pull the choke knob, battery holder, A front turn signal lens and could use a tail lens, headlight rims and a radiator cap. It had the original thermostat installed and shock absorbors when I bought it. I'm working on King Pins but the only ones I can find are .0016 over so I'm going to have to do some reaming. I have welded a 1" strip in both rocker panels about 3/4's of the length and replaced around 4 square inches in the front door post while retaining all the original corners and welds. The back edge of the fenders was full of pin holes but other then that this one had very little rust. I had to weld up pin holes in the original gas tank as the extra only held 5 gallons. This one now has a 13 gallon capacity! I could use a fuel cap inset off an old discarded bed to integrate the extra filler spout just a bit better. All the rubber needs replaced. I'll get to that soon.

I wan to see one in person. Curious how much smaller it is than the 521 or even a 320.

The 221 seems to be about the same as a 320, not a lot of room in there unless you are a small person.
