That's why you have to go to school to work on automobiles, they teach you how to not lose your tools/parts.

I'm a slow learner...

Here the trans pulled back to the drive line flange.

And here's where it sits, where my 'wayno mount' should be.. This was just a quick run in the garage and check some shit out before I leave the house kinda thing.

Well I just looked in every box in the garage.. ever shelf.. Under everything... Looked in my room, found the box wayno shipped it in but that was if course empty...

Sooo if I can't find it I'll need another.. it does in fact look like his mount would fix everything.. drive line problem even. But can't find out.

Y u resting the shaft on the ground? grab some chunks of 2x4s and put bellhousing on em... just me .02

Welding skills. haha.. Who cares? Get some steel, at least 1/8" inch. Make a little test weld on it.. You want it to sound like you are frying some bacon.. Make a small circular motion where the two metals meet... itll get you by... theres a million videos... watch a few, test on a piece, rip that shit!

u still in tri shitties or did you move to oly or whats the scoop on that stuff

I'll get on the welding!! Thanks!

I'm going g up to oly the 15th to the 19th to find a house to rent. So I'm still in the tri cities tell probably mid September. School for the girl starts late September...

I'm also not resting the shaft on the ground. It's on a 4x4 block. Both are just can't see'em.

You do not want the oil cooler to actually touch the radiator, you need at least some 1/8 inch foam pieces between them.
I am not sure if it is actually touching or not, it just sorta looks like it might be touching.

That's good to know... so I need an actual piece of foam between them you say? I can do that.

There is a few more things I want to do to bring the cooler forward... it isn't touching but is pretty damn close..

sweet man. You could always throw 4 washers between the rad and the core support. That would move it a smidge away.

Yeah for the champion rad I didn't want the aluminum touching and rubbing the steel of the truck. So I got some small rubber grommets, to put between them.
Worked good and moved my rad maybe half an inch closer to the motor... probably not a half an inch but still was thinking about doing the same thing with this rad.
