Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
Its almost complete(as in not dissected so to speak)
r&p would be nice, if its a "somewhat" simple refit
*edit
Gotta go Keith, have a good night.
Glad to see the 210 is a car still

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
OK...Dilemma.
74 620-1.8L; 73 610-1.8L
620, No AC available. 610, AC was an option.
I am not installing AC on this.
I'm shopping water pumps.
AC equipped models came with a fan clutch. Non-AC models did not.
What's the difference? Is the belt pulley spaced differently enough that I won't be able to use the clutched pump?
Obviously, I'm only going to be running the alt. So what to do?

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
the spacing is all the same for the belts. the fan assembly is what's different IIRC. it will have the large ass clutch mechanism and the fan mounting points are in a larger radius.
Look at dis.
and den dis
So the clutch fan is one unit. (we won't get into tearing it apart). And has the pulley built in.
The non AC has a pulley you can take off with the fan.

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
I get the clutch/no clutch thing.
So, no worries just putting it on the L18 I have with absolutely ZERO intentions of ever using AC?
I also have 2 or 3 different fans at the house. I should have one to fit whatever pump sizing I end up getting.

Yeah man. you can totally use a non clutch water pump. I think on the cars with AC. the crank pulley had a second pulley groove setup for it. The alt in the same place, then another one just the other side (towards radiator). I can't find a good picture to show

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
521.. but same shit.. L series AC
http://community.ratsun.net/topic/6364-521-ac-pictures/
Well, it either had a second pulley or ran one giant ass fucking belt around the whole setup. but likely two different belts I though. IDK theres some pictures. I do know the alt will line up if you use a regular water pump tho
And here yeah, You can see second pulley groove for ac jazz... I should read more since I know little about AC... But do trust me the alt belts fine...

Re: Smaller. Better. Slower. Lower.
Soooooooo.................
A co-worker of mine made me an offer I could not refuse.
He offered me 2 wheels of his and $100 for my baby Supras.
XXR 513. 15x8 et.0 Only been driven on 3 times.
Look at this lip!
Toyo PROXES T1R tires.
I wanted to put them on the 210 tonight...but I don't have a title, so not happening.
I removed and cleaned all the Supras. Installed some steel rollers to the 210.
Plan is to get 2 15x7s for the front in the near future.
They're fake Wats, but they look great.

Just in time for winter.
