Nice to have an edmitted datsun lover so close..
My truck was grandpas from new...
4 engines, 3 transmissions,and 2 axles later
It has earned a new cab and paint job....

Right On ... the first Datsun in our family was a 521 my grandpa bought new.
I wish our family still had it, but it was sold back in '75 after my grandpa died.

71 is 521. 72 is 521. Unless super ass early 620 dated wrong 620s were 73 an on but started getting mfrd 72.5 so some are titled as such.

Ide be happy with it stripped and no papers !!!
Then ide have a streight cab and inner fenders.

There was a few of these up here in Eugene for sale. They were dirt cheap... Maybe denmarkboy on ratsun might know. He was hoarding these at one time.
