The only thing rare about this one is that if the VIN tag says 521, it has been switched.

I know this one from Ratsun.

And this one is not a 66 either, only had single headlights in 66.

Remember when these didn't come with a few extra zeros thrown at the asking price?

1968 Datsun 510 Sedan Survivor Barn Find - $10 (Carson City NV)

... it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

This seller isn't bothering to list it locally, he's going for some of those Apple / Google millionaires.

Judging by most of your posts I think I need to sell all my cars in Cali.

Not technically a Datsun but SR power, yo. My brother is the seller. Has some quirks so it's priced accordingly. I can elaborate if anyone might be interested.

I was informed about this on another list I am a member of, if anyone is looking for Nissan/Datsun diesel engines/parts way up north near Vancouver, Canada.

eh, the rust will go away if you paint over it. . . right?

This here unit has variable paint colors to choose from (already applied), and custom body work. Plus, all the crap that can be thrown into the back that the seller can get you to haul away for him! It also has custom Air Conditionining (rust holes).

From a distance, not to bad for the price. . . traveling the distance to see it. . . that's a different story!

Aside from it being a victim of air, water and time. I kinda dig it. Looks almost like a datsun tow truck. I'd rock that just to haul my quad lol

I like this little gem but noticed a few things only a picky Datsun owner would notice.
I thought only the newer 620s had the bench seat with the cut out in the center, I can't remember....like 77-79 or something I dunno.
Wheres the fuse box cover????
Wheres all the fender badges??

Not too bad though. Not sure if I would pay $8k tho.

Rocky Mountain High (as in - higher than a kite?) That seller needs to find someone just as high to part with some serious cash.

Yes, it obviously was repainted - they matched the color well, but leaving off the badges makes me wonder what happened to the holes.

The first year the 620 got the longer transmission was in 1974, like my truck. That's when the bench seat was notched for the shifter.
So only the 72-73 trucks didn't have the cut out in the bench seat, most (except KC's) had this bench seat - which I think fits best.

Another bit a trivia - the first year for a L20b powered 620 was 1975 and the radiator core support was notched around radiator. :geek:
