and yah, rustoleum, its a little bit lighter than the typical rustoleum blue. its lighter than laguna seca blue but its still really vibrant. i like it but i need to get around to polishing it or something because it looks terrible in person.

a bunch of random stuff has happend in the many many months that ive been ignoring this thread.

at some point over the summer I was going to try to make my own 3 piece fibreglass spoiler, It didn't end up going anywhere but hopefully ill pick that back up at some point

Image

I got these wheels from Banner, Keystone 14 x 6" -12 offset ( or are they 6.5"? i dont remember...) Yes I realize they are a huge step down from Work Equips, but they will end up fitting the car WAY better, they will basically stick out about an inch further, so they should be about flush with the fenders. So they will make a good temporary wheel untill I flare it and need something wider =)

Image

plus they dont look half bad.

Image

I got started on bodywork and paint, Im doing it panel by panel. and since the car is nowhere near straight and it doesnt make sense to do a real paint job yet, Im going for the faux-patina thing

Image

Image

also got a door done (its supposed to be inspired by Paul Newmans Canon 280z)

Image

I picked up some headlight covers a couple of weeks ago too! I love the look of them! they completely change the car!

terrible picture but you get the idea.

and another picture just for funsies.

I def don't see those as a step down. I think name brand stuff is, well. Over played. Oh look at me, i has some bbs konig ssr rewind retard hurpdurp rims. And it's like 5 different types of wheels on 99% of datsuns. those look great man, throw them on!

I like everything about this build. Love the new wheels.

Well build quality alone the new wheels are crappy crap. But they still look decent.

They have the right look for the intended theme.
