FSM (Factory Service Manuals)

Post by izzo »

Sticky for factory service manuals. Here is a link to some, in PDF form. Not just datsun, but nissans too. Some datsuns are missing from this. Please feel free to add replies with links to this, and if you can any info about the link like what cars/trucks/models if possible. A mod will add them to this original post. It will be sticky, so right at top for all us to find easy.

Some of you may know about that link, but I just came across it today looking for KA24E truck FSM. Mostly nissans in this link, but there are a few datsuns like Z cars, 510/520 and a year or two of 620.

Better pin this.
My Datsuns, like good friends, have never let me down. At least in any way that was not understandable and thus fixable.

I currently am in possession of original Nissan wiring diagrams for almost each individual year S13s... if only I had an S13.

I probably don't need it, but do you have the 180sx non-turbo CA18DE wiring diagram? and where are you buying new CA18 parts? (like an alternator or gasket set?)

Im not 100% sure on the non turbo harness... I would imagine its super similar to the Turbo version, there aren't even any additional sensors I could think of...

CA parts. It depends what you need. A lot of RWD specific parts can be bought for S12 Ca18e and CA20e motors. You can buy the 88 Pulsar NX gaskit kit, and it will have all but a couple of the gaskets (turbo specific, actually that might be perfect for you...). Ebay and FRSport.com seem to be great places for parts. Alternator definitely seems to be a little more problematic to source. Seems there is no USDM alt that will bolt up, but everyone seems to state that you can get it rebuilt easily.

Also, here is the best place I can find for finding information on these motors. http://forums.nicoclub.com/ca18de-ca18det-forum.html

Hey INDY!!!
The only thing you need to do is add injector resistors or injector resistor pack from a CA18DET loom or that of a 1G DSM turbo4. It really is not that big of a deal to use a CA18DE harness with a CA18DET.
That is from BoostBoy on nicoclub, a mod in the CA section. I gather that the harnesses are really rather similar.
