That looks like it'd be a nice buy at around $1500.

Late 67 or 68, no way it's a 66, if the title says 1966, then the VIN tag has been moved, and the frame number will not match the VIN tag.

I always preferred the early over the late. My brother's '68 was really nice but had too many headlights.

Tim, remember that little shop at the bottom of Skyline on Corn Pass that had all those early 520s back in the day? Probably around 12 years ago they all got towed out of the blackberries and disappeared.

I still remember the roads around up there. I do recall seeing stuff back there but wasn't aware what really at the time.

Theres a car at an intersection stuffed back in the woods a little bit. It's off skyline. Pioneer and something intersection I think? Been a while. I could find it if need be lol

Coming east down Skyline toward Portland. Left at Corn Pass. Just past the little store on the right. Looks like it used to be a repair shop years ago with corrugated tin siding. Had 6-8 Datsun pickups on the side covered in blackberries.

I know the store you speak of!

top right

The house on the bottom left of the pic... My grandpa grew up there. He met my grandma on the Skyline Grange. There was a barn dance or whatever they called it back then...

That's the one. The old shop is just outside the top right corner of the photo.

Since it has the original blue and yellow CA license plates, I would suggest listing it for sale in California.
As we all know, California prices for 510's are much higher than anywhere else in the world.

Where it is at ... I would think maybe $500 ... it's beat, but not a total rust bucket.
The glass looks okay, and it has tires with some tread. I would say - Go Rally Car With It!

chatted with him a little last night and he's selling cause he doesn't think he can finish the projects in the next 10 years cause of personal medical issues.

The only reason I'm going to check is to see if he's thinking California prices or Idaho prices. He's got a call from Seattle, Hawaii and another place, phuc, that's 2 more then I've gotten on my 72 wagon. Maybe I shouldn't include so many photo's if any so I can get more calls. :fry:
