Re: long time coming 710
Absolutely feel your pain with the blackberries. Spent all weekend doing the same thing. At least I've got some fir trees for shade.
Paint looks good.

Re: long time coming 710
Blackberries are really gonna be bad for me. I lasted for about an hour and almost ended up in the hospital for it. Wife nearly forced me after watching me cry and listening to me scream for two hours from how bad my head hurt. Shits no joke, and seems to get worse every year. Shitty part is, I didn't even get 1/20 of em taken care of...

That is going to look nice.
Hate it about the heat for you. Although I love blackberries, I don't think I'd want them in my yard. They attract birds, which in turn attracts snakes. Snakes I cannot stand.

Re: long time coming 710
It's not so much about what They attract. It's more about the fact that they will literally take over your entire yard in less than a year if you dont keep on em, and they are an absolute beast to kill.

Blackberries are a bitch!! I'd spray some ground clear or something on them. Or go rent some equipment and rip those fuckers out!
Good luck man.

Re: long time coming 710
Sprayed em for 2 years straight. I'm about ready to just pour gas on my entire backyard and light it on fire. And driven...you sound like my mother in law Lol. She's been pushing that since we got the place. Problem is my wife has this thing about getting attached to animals. We'd start of renting it and we'd have to buy it. And there are some things in the jungle I'd like to keep, but I now have to refind them. Plus, after watching our neighbors goat eat the engine of his riding lawnmower, I don't overly trust them around anything. Fucking thing even licked the gas and oil up when it starts spilling out...

Re: long time coming 710
I'll have to take a kind of panoramic of my backyard when I get home. I'd like to use heavy equipment but it has boulders hiding under shit too. And the wife would want to drive at some point in time, which would probably be a bad idea...

Re: long time coming 710
I get that. My wife thinks they're cute too. Thing is, goats are assholes. By the time his work is done, she'll probably be glad to see him go.

Re: long time coming 710
Yes I do draker. There's even some ponds and bamboo off to the right of the porch. And a few more trees and more blackberries...but I have a 695 buck a month mortgage for nearly half an acre. I can't complain too much about it needing work lol. And driven, trust me when I say that goat could kick her in the face and bite her nipple off and she'd still love it. She's weird about animals

Re: long time coming 710
Yeah that's a little more than I imagined.
Y'all don't have kudzu up there do you? That shit is rampant here, takes over everything. My bane is privet. The roots shoot out right under the surface of the top soil and sprout up wherever it chooses.
And I can sympathize about the wife and animals. Mine wants to save every one of them.

I've already got six...and with her out of work right now, no more funds for parts, much less entire cars
