Re: Jayden's blue baby
Would like to give a shout out to my father in law today. Wherever he may be. Today would have been his 66th birthday. He passed away 3 years ago from a heart attack. He is the reason my truck is here today and not scrapped. He is my inspiration for keeping her alive and running strong. Also THE biggest reason I have no plans of ever getting rid of her.
Thank you Tommy and may we meet again someday.

Re: Jayden's blue baby
Wow, update time!!
Drove her to work early Monday morning. When I parked I noticed I did not have any brake lights. Ok, I'll look into it later. She sat all week and I drove her home Last night. Getting off the freeway the blinkers were working just fine, then all of a sudden the charge light comes on and the blinkers quit working. Then charge light goes off. It was dark so headlights on too. I went to dinner with the wife and when I shut the truck off...the charge light usually flickers when you turn key off.....nothing. Turn key back on and no charge light. So I did have plenty of battery to drive home the few miles but my baby isn't working properly.
No blinkers
No brake lights
No gas gauge
No charge light
Alt not charging

Re: Jayden's blue baby
Guess its time to take fuse block out and clean up real good, knock the corrosion off.
Minor crisis averted.
Now I can get back to the list of things I have planned.
Brakes...got 3 more wheel cylinders to replace along with shoes
Front bumper....put new one on with over rider bar
Engine.....Have L20 on stand, need to overhaul it and slap peanut head on it
ORRRRRRRRRR......someone has an L18 block they may sell me, just need one more connecting rod and piston for it....hmmmmmmm
Bah......gotta wait for weather to warm up a little more tho
