Re: Redemption? flatcat's 521
tuck a ten behind the seat.
some old Pioneer tune ups would be sweet for a retro build(check em out online)
Tuck some 6inch in the kick panels if you can(not sure if there is room)
do NOT...cut any original door or kick panels(if they are good)

Re: Redemption? flatcat's 521
I have a Fosgate amp in my Pathy. Sounds great for what I want. I get what you're saying about too much though. I had 2 8's in my last 620 & it was a bit much. And I was young then.
I don't know how much room there is behind the stock seat but I imagine not much. If it were me I'd probably do 2 6&1/2's in the cab corners behind the seat. Some 4x6's in the kick panels and some nice, clear sounding tweeters right where the A-pillar meets the windshield or under the edge of the dash.
CL all that shit to get what you want.

Weekend plans...
Finish taping the 521 harness and get it laid out in the engine bay.
Fix all broken/missing connectors.
Start 521.
Install new mirrors.

do you have one of those stupid dealership weekends that puts Saturday on Sunday and Sunday on Thursday?

I hate my schedules.DRIVEN » Sat May 09, 2015 7:43 pm wrote:do you have one of those stupid dealership weekends that puts Saturday on Sunday and Sunday on Thursday?
4 teams. Schedule changes every 28 days.
Schedule 1: Mon-Thur. 7:30-6:00 w/hr lunch
Schedule 2: Tues-Sat. 8:00-5:00 w/hr lunch
Schedule 3: Mon, Tues. Wed/Thur off. Fri. Sat. 7:30-6:00 w/hr lunch
Schedule 4: Mon. Tues off. Wed-Sat. 8:00-5:00 w/hour lunch
Notice the transition from Schedule 1 to schedule 2. 4 day weekend.
The transition from 4 to 1 is fucking brutal.
I'm currently on schedule 2 right now. Next month, 3.
Canby week; I will have Wed/Thur off. I requested Fri and Sat off.
Hoping I get it approved. If I do, family will be in Portland Wed/Thur. Plano Gato will be in Canby alone Fri, Sat, and Sun.

Re: Redemption? flatcat's 521
Are you still looking for a front bumper with brackets??
Or, am I a dumbass and missed the part where you found one??
I have one or 5 in really good shape, with brackets. May be persuaded to swing thru tri cites on way to Canby and drop off.......??

No stress. Doesn't need to be perfect either.
And if you find that one has split in two, I really want that one. If ya know what I mean.

I wouldn't be doing my job.. if I didn't ask if you would like to donate one of those front bumpers to the Canby raffle truck. We are looking for one. All proceeds are going to charity. No personal gain anywhere from top to bottom.
If you haven't seen the build, it's here:
http://community.ratsun.net/topic/64634 ... -giveaway/
Don't feel obligated. Eagle Adam was going to donate a bumper but he has fell off the face of the earth Datsun wise. Due to personal reasons of course.

Plus, you could win it back.. attached to a truck for as little as $5.
