Rick-rat won the truck, what's really hilarious is that I was told that D-Mike gave Rick the winning ticket before he left along with some others that received tickets from him.

Re: Canby 2015
Gene seen that I had a fan belt going bad at Canby when I lifted the hood, I thanked him for pointing it out and suggested that I would have been fine being ignorant of the issue and would have made it home fine, but I went to auto parts store and bought a belt just in case.
Well I got about 10 miles(just short of Oregon City) before I lost the belt, I pulled into a Tavern parking lot and proceeded to change the belt, and while doing that I had two cars from the Canby meet driving by ask if I needed help, and another person from inside the Tavern come out and ask also, but I said I was fine and had it changed out in about 10 minutes and was on my way again.
Old Datsuns draw attention, especially when one is towing another one, sorry I didn't take a photo, I was on a mission to get home safely, didn't think about taking photos.

Added note...Draker won the SUs.
Mike gave me a ticket too. 3 off from Rick's.
Screwy, Mike still won't know for a few days.

Re: Canby 2015
Hope everyone got home safe!
I had to pull over about 15 miles from home because my water temps started to spike. I wasn't really that low on coolant... I put about a half gallon in and it still ran hot for the next 15 miles.
I was happy to win the SU's. I bought 6 tickets and dumped them in with hundreds of others.
I was 4 tickets away from winning the truck. I had 10 tickets, ending in 44 to 54. #58 was the magic number. The only reason I bought tickets was because Al did not. He wouldn't accept tickets either.. If I won, the keys would stay with him. But Rick winning.... that's a storybook ending to Canby 2015.
If you listen back to the recordings of the raffle and award presentation where Al is talking, he told Rick on stage "I hope you win." A sentiment that was talked about many times while building it.
Amazing.

Also we raised just under $4000 unofficially for the charity. I'll post up once I hear the final numbers.

I wish, had some drama in the body shop, broken windshield, wrong rear window seals, no brakes. Next year510freak » Sun Jun 14, 2015 7:11 pm wrote:Sweet pics Kenny, see you went up with the keeper?

I was going thru my tool box and just had a feeling to leave that drill in there. I thought to myself...cuz you never know, that's why.
Anyways, wish it was more complex than that but your welcome!
