Oh Lord. Traded some stuff for this. Ball joints are the worst I've ever seen. Bolt shoved in the rf brake hose. Needs calipers and rotors drums shoes and a flywheel.

It's beat. Gonna make it a toy.

What shall I name it?

I expected nothing other than the replies i got lolol..

It runs, just needs shit. Dude obviously didn't care about it. Ball joints, tie rods, calipers, rotors, flywheel, shoes and hardware. Then wheel the piss out of it. I looked in the back of the truck, I came out with some goodies on the deal. At this point whatever I do I will come out ahead.

More pics tonight.

Also, Dark horse it is.

The thing is. I've been away from NWD for a long time now. I haven't had a project, or things to do really. Been out riding the quads and wrenching on them. Kinda lost touch with the car scene. Feels good to be back, for now at least! haha.

So I am going to buy new calipers, rotors, and hoses. But they will be going on my daily driver, the one I got from Draker. Now I will be using the ones off my daily and putting them on this beater truck. No reason to dump money into it really unless need be. I will have to buy ball joints but they're cheap enough it doesn't matter.

As of now

Ball joints upper and lower both sides
Calipers/pads/hoses
Check rear shoes/hardware. guessing they're shot just cuz of how everything else is.
Tires
Alignment
Figure out why heater doesn't work, I did find a new heater thingy in the back (its the deal that goes near the fan, with the squigly spring looking things on it. I forget the word at the moment but have had to replace them before, but the odd thing is... they usually work on high as that is straight thru. It doesn't work at all, so guessing its disconnected. I haven't checked to see if the heater core is bypassed yet, do that later. Lights and signals work. Some of the parts on it are going on my truck, like corner lights are better, the chrome ST mirrors, aluminum valve cover.
Title/tabs

There will be other misc things I need to go over. Wiring, as its a little fucked here and there. It has the console gauges but they aren't hooked up. Dunno why yet. The camper shell is coming off and being given away. It has no back window.

It came with a baggy that had i think 4 nissan rubber grommets for the firewall where the heater hoses go thru the firewall. score.

acutely, I believe............... don't believe everything you read on the internet. < disclamer

quote from izzo > did find a new heater thingy in the back (its the deal that goes near the fan, with the squigly spring looking things on it. < end quote

since the heater doesn't work. Once izzo replaces the "squigly spring " it will make the heater work again and when he turns up the heat, the springy thing glows to release more heat.

oh, it's called the ASSY-RESISTOR #9

Check the heater switch plug. Fried that before and fan wouldn't work. I just pulled it, clean the plug and good as new.

Wow, that truck has seen better days, it looks like it sat for a long time considering the shape of that rotor.
