Re: 620s Unite!!
Seems a few of you like the other pic. SO here are a couple more of little guy. I like grabbing coffee in the morning and taking pics while im at it.
Pretty stock truck. But have plans for it here soon. Have a few bucks coming in here, and looking to toss a snappy L20b in there with a fresh 5 speed. Been layed up for a few months now. Skill saw got away from me and got after my thumb a bit. So work has been a no go. But back at it soon. Cannot wait.

Re: 620s Unite!!
Thanks a bunch! By the reputation points im getting. I guess that means you approve.
Ive have some old Western Turbines going on here soon. But i do like the sctockers with caps though. Just dont fill out the wheel well very much......
More sunrise and coffee.....
From Teds Peninsula cruise a while back. Pulled over to make sure everyone is caught up. Think we had a little better than 20 Datsuns. And one 90's Toyota Celica. Good times!.....
If anyone is around the Port Townsend Wa, area id be happy to get together and take some pics of cool cars. No matter the type of car. When the motor and more importantly the tranny. Get swapped ill be down to drive all over the place.
P.S. Sry if you are on a phone....Not really.

Personally, I love the stock wheel look. Wouldn't change a thing.

Re: 620s Unite!!
yep, me like this pic also. I like the small touches you do to it, mirrors, 521 hubcaps, blacked out grill and hood.
what is that color, it looks like a green but not sure.

Re: 620s Unite!!
If I ever get another Datsun 620 - I want a period-correct wheeler like this!
I dig the wheels. I'm very happy with Wrangler MT/R's ... my latest set (on my Yukon XL) are the Kevlar's.

Re: 620s Unite!!
Thanks K Trip. That was one of my first improvements. They're a bit taller than I originally wanted. Was looking at a set of interco ssr 29-12.5 radials first, but turned out they were unavailable at the time, so went with these. I like how quiet these are on the highway. Need to get truck re-geared with the right ratios and some lockers before I do any serious wheeling....K_trip » Fri Dec 11, 2015 11:02 am wrote:If I ever get another Datsun 620 - I want a period-correct wheeler like this!

Thanks Draker!draker wrote:Mike's old 620.
Welcome!
Mike? Not Datzenmike?
Picked this up in Bremerton. Guy I got it from had it only about a week. Said he got it from some kids that tried to beat the hell out of it. Had exploded wheel bearing, no brakes and blown head gasket when I got it...
Had pictures of it on Ratsun. No one laid claim to it as their old truck. Prolly embarrassed by the ugly ass dash mod they did. Lol.
