Datsuns in movies/TV shows
not sure if this topic exists yet if it does can mod merge them?
I was just surfing some oddball movies on youtube and saw a datsun 521 in a movie called Sweet 16teen at the 6 minute mark, it is the back end of it but it does look like a NWD or Ratsun members 521.
I just might need to try and get a screen shot.
maybe only post in this thread if you actually watched enough of the movie/tv show to spot a Datsun

Sweet 16teen (1983) - the 521 Datsun is at 5:55
the datsun belongs to Jason ( didn't hear his last name in the movie) .

Re: Datsuns in movies/TV shows
I watched that Winning movie last week. I thought it was good, I just wished they'd focused a little more on the earlier part of his racing.

Re: Datsuns in movies/TV shows
I like that this trailer was posted by Adam Carolla: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Szj0gCkFuk
I don't watch many movies, nor TV shows, but I might have to check that one out some day. I have to say, I'm a Paul Newman fan. Not so much for his acting, but more for his approach to business. Newman's Own is a great business model, one I hope we see copied more and more. I also dig that Newman was really into Datsuns! It's cool to see Adam Carolla collect and race his old cars.

Re: Datsuns in movies/TV shows
I don't remember ever seeing a movie he was in either but I would recommend watching this. It touches on his salad dressing business a bit too. From what I understand, he came up with the recipes.

I think jun's wagon was just shown on Fast and Loud tonight.
They went to the hotwheels headquarters and there was a nice wagon.

I believe you are correct sir.
From that show
And on the board behind Aaron you can see the inspiration for the Mad Manga (right) and Hako (left)
