1972 Datsun 510 4 door $2000.00 OBO
72 Datsun 510 4 door L16 with 210 head, automatic, stock Datsun carb, not sure if it's the original one. Look at the pic's for condition. Battery NOT included. YES, it runs, carb needs work, it stales when you give it a little gas, has a vacuum leak at the primary shaft. I'd fix it but new owner wood install a weber so why waste $$$ and time. Floors & trunk floor are solid. Gas tank has been removed, cleaned and re-installed. If interested, PM me your number and let me know when's a good time to call. More details when we talk.
Asking $2995.10 OR make a reasonable offer, cash only. If additional pic's requested, please give your email address. Clean title in our name.
I'll be checking into what works as in the HL, TL, brake lights, turn signals, blah blah bla, Datsun. Update coming.
since I've never had the 510 on the hi-way, bring a trailer. If you don't have a battery to help load the 510, we can use mine to help get it loaded.

That car is clean!
Damnit these cars are not toys anymore. I mean, even when you charge this much for a sedan, times are changing.

Re: 1972 Datsun 510 4 door
what I'm pointing at is NOT rust, just some dirt I missed.
what I'm pointing at IS rust, just thought I'd point that out. lol
well, that should be enough pic's to give a good idea what I'm selling. The price is a little high as far as I'm concerned but it sort of weeds out the wanna bee's and children that think it's just an old car.
Now that the weather is starting to feel like spring, again, I'll look into what electrical issues the 510 has. When I was working on it last summer, the headlights and front turn signals were giving me problems. I know for a fact some of the side marker lights don't work and I'm not even going to touch them, most likely rust issues. Whats new huh.
not sure if I mentioned but the title is a clear title and in our name. Thanks for looking and if you got any questions, you'll get a honest answer. No Fnn surprises from this end.

Fuck yeah! Making me want to hang a sign in mine. Course, then I'd be Datsunless and no longer welcome here.

Don't sell the wagon, Once you get moved to Southern Idaho, you'll need it to play/hang/cruze with the Southern Datsun crew.DRIVEN » Tue Apr 05, 2016 8:51 pm wrote:Fuck yeah! Making me want to hang a sign in mine. Course, then I'd be Datsunless and no longer welcome here.

At either price you had it should have sold.
Maybe if it could drive away you could get close to your full price.
May be worth a $50 battery.

Re: 1972 Datsun 510 4 door $2995.10 OBO
3 reasons why I don't supply a battery, 1= it would be better if the buyer bought he's own so the battery has a warranty in his name . 2 = If I did put a battery in a car I'm selling, how long before it sells. 3= I had 6 battery's go dead on me a few years back, never again. Like tossing money away.
the cheapest battery's I've found is around a $100.00 plus.
I've had more emails, one is a person snow birding in Arizona and will be back up this way next month. I'm not to worried about selling it, spring is here and summer is around the corner.

Re: 1972 Datsun 510 4 door $2995.10 OBO
Been tossing around the idea of trading the butterscotch b210. Super super clean car. Be hard pressed to ever find another original this clean. Another 800 miles till she hits 100k.
But it's my daily. If I traded, I'd have to trade for a daily. Love to get my hands on a 510 610 maybe 710. Just a thought right now. Just went thru a bunch of stuff on the car. It needs an idler arm as this one is worn. They are 80 bucks just haven't had the cash right now.

think all tax refunds are suppose to be paid out by April 30th, other wise IRS has to adjust the refund with interest.
But who know's in today's F'd up government.

Just haven't sent the fucking check yet.... Cock sucking bastards. 10k floating around out there... They jewed me down and said they would only give me 5500 or some shit.. Said whatever, just send the damn check...

bumping the price to $1700.00 or make a reasonable offer.
