Straight up impressive ! Roger loud and clear on fucking with it. I didn't understand that this tundra had the tranny warmer , and cooler was ran through the A/C condenser when I purchased it. Damn cool idea.


Picked this up off craigslist for $40. It's just sitting their until the z-bracket , and deck rails arrive. Guy took it out so he could haul his camper. Nice shape. Probably going to through my Toyota bed mat under to keep it from cutting the paint badly. If I don't like it , off it goes to get sprayed for $450 from Line-x or rhino liner or whatever I like. Love the big yota symbol .

My opinion, line-x or arma coat only. And I never liked how slick those dropins are, stuff slides so easy.

That isnt so much a problem if you dont have bare metal... Same can be said for rubber mats too. Sprayin is the best way. Keeps the most volume in the bed, you can still add a rubber mat.

My old shop was selling dropins at about $250-$300 new. Or a spray in at $400.

I always laughed when someone bought a sprayin, and a drop in, and a rubber mat.







other note, if you are looking at spending more money, Floor mats. WeatherTech are the best, Huskyliners if you want to save some coin.

likely tossing bed liner. Appreciated. Used it to haul a 250lb bed along with misc.

Gotta get line-x or armacoat (have yet to make a committed line-x appointment since I'd rather spend time seeing this chick).

Slapped in my weather tech floor mats last week. Exception of drivers sill area sticking straight up and pushing on my door panel I am quite pleased with the quality. Emailed weather tech since the shipping box was prisitine.

Also installed weather tech window visors.... like those a lot for cutting down wind noise down the highway as well as a wee bit more of shade. Great value in that instance.

You may try a hair dryer on the floor mat, or leave in position while at work, since it's hot enough.

I let them sit in the truck with the windows up nearly all the time (thinking the same) to no avail. Tried the hair blower briefly (ran out of time) with not much relief. Will try it again.

I'm a moron. I didn't realize that after you put your key in the ignition...you flick the key forward and let it start (on a timer I suppose) on it's own. Don't hold it down. Took me 1,600 miles to figure that one out. Doh ! Bahaha. Literally ....live and learn !

Haha, yeah. I remember chasing a no-crank on an older Tundra a few years ago. IIRC key feeds a relay feeds ecm feeds another relay feeds starter. Turned out one of the EFI relays was dropping the ball.
Overcomplicated.

*Ordered some road master active suspension things , and a hell wig rear sway bar. We'll see which one I like more and a guy I know may inherit the other.


The cops loooovvvvveeee this truck........peaked at 3-4 mph over the limited max one night (using cruising control at times).....everyone else getting away with everything but murder.........clackamas county (newer charger) sheriff followed behind me for a while (driving with a date) then when he wen't to "take off" to pass me out in the middle of nowhere it was a high ratio of noise to little-go ratio ...bahahah.....bahahahahah........



Chevron gas = has always been my go to gas. Best power in general and a lot less problems associated.
She'll gas = meh power and mileage. Get it if needed.
Arch gas = accidentally drove into a station that was a chevron and filled her up. Looked up at the sign as soon as it was about done filling and said "ahhhhh f&$!"..... interestingly enough the low end power was the best between the 3 mentioned. Likely bad mpg ....pfffffff it's a truck though......

I've always been a chevron person too. I go there mostly. but use shell if not near one. Luckily there is one here in astoria and seaside. Seems to get the best mileage, and oomph from there. Car just seems to run better/cleaner & more smooth.
