Side markers
Side markers
Does anyone know if 510 rear side markers will fit a 1976 710? Also does anyone have a turn signal switch for a 1976 710 wagon? Thanks

Re: Side markers
Most markers from most these Datsun will fit. Just not as good as you're replacing.
Rubber gasket pads will be different and most likely the lengths of wire are different.
I'm using 620 lights in my 521. I had to lengthen wires. That was it.

Yup. Most will physically interchange but may not be "correct" from a concourse standpoint.
When the only tool you have is a hammer every problem starts to look like a hippy.

Thanks fatcat19 and DRIVEN. Great info. Mine got damaged by rust so I need to find replacements.

Re: Side markers
Its the rubber that is different. And wire length as noted. Keep your current rubber, and swap the metal bits.

Re: Side markers
I don't know what the 510s is like bit on the 521, the steel is sandwiched in the rubber base. Mine were rusted so bad is was eating the rubber .
It took some trial and fitment to get the base and lights from the 620 to sit how I wanted.
My photobucket is being picky right now or I'd post some pictures.
