I have learned how hard it is to get parts for these cars, most places don't even have listings for them - let alone parts.
You learn to ask for 510 disc brake pads for your RL411, and 520 front brakes hoses. They are not straight forward!

Therefore - you have a treasure chest of Datsun parts there my friend

Someone complained, they don't just drive around looking for that kind of stuff, someone usually has to complain.

did the code enforcer explain what code you were violating ? He should of told you. Find out, can you. I'd like to read what it says and how it is written up.

also you have the right to face your accuser, it's the law. Ask the code enforcer for the name. If he doesn't produce it, then ignore his nazi ass. He might have a grudge against you or was just bored and wanted to do something.

document everything just incase. This can be done by putting notes (time / who / what was said ) in a note book or on the calendar.

I hear ya - and since you have that cool goon, maybe it's best to sell the sedan and focus on it?

I saw your other post for this car, that's a good move! Keep this thread going for progress on the wagon, and folks can make suggestions or ask questions about the sedan in that thread. It would be a shame for someone to part that sedan out, but the fact is ... it could be worth more money in today's market like that. Sad but true, then 10 years from now it will be worth more as a whole - I've seen that happen before, it's just the economics - let's hope it goes to a good home!

And see I would get fined.
Really piss the squealer off and part it out in your front yard. Down here they are supposed to be behind a fence or your house. Nobody says shit in my neighborhood. Shit we all watch out for each other. I could and have left my cars unlocked with the keys in them although times are changing and I don't chance it anymore.

There are people here that come by your house and try to buy your "junk cars" and if you don't sell it/them to the person they have been known to report violations of said rule stated above^^ to the police dept.

It looks like the body is in super nice shape!

I don't know what your long term plans are, maybe you like the "patina" look maybe not??? Either way, you could give it a couple of good CLR washes to clean up the surface rust and then cover it in good wax. If you're into the "patina" then you're saving the look it has earned over the years. Even if you're not into the look, at least you won't have more issues to deal with when you go to paint it later on. I don't know, I'm just throwing out a suggestions. Man I love your goon :)

I live at the end of, but not in, a newer neighborhood. They've tried to apply their HOA rules to me in the past. When I ignored their whining they just made anonymous complaints to the cops. Cops would show up but never actually did anything but talk.

Cant seem to get the wagon going...never enough time and then the boy loses interest. It is for sale now. $2000 firm with new rebuilt r16. Motor has never been fired. I got the motor from gcmustang(Greg). Was really hoping to make this go...alas, there will be time for others when the boy is older.

Hey Todd, Mark Hubble was looking for something like this. Maybe hit him up? He was offering his 4 door b210 with CA swap for trades. Runs and drives nice. ( maybe the swap hasn't been done yet, idk)

Yeah Jess....sucks to do but, needed. I'm sure whoever gets it will do it justice. Tim, thanks, I did see that, but I'm not looking for any trades. The point is I just dont have time for a project and my boy is not ready for a car yet. And when I do get another, it will be a wagon again. I think in a couple years when my boy is excited to drive and we can go to the shows together and really create some interest in Datsun for him. Thanks for the help guys.
