I am considering sourcing a new front windshield from PGI. My understanding is that their current offerings are the "Chinese" variety that is thinner and softer than the Nissan OEM variant. Quoted price was $170 tho the nearest warehouse for me is up in Seattle. Anyone have thoughts regarding PGI and their offerings? Thanks!

I think I've got Chinese glass in my 510. The alternative was no windshield or a really shitty one. I would say.. just do it.

I put a call into Pilkington Classic..., out of stock, checking when / if they will do another run. Anyone here interested in joining in? If so, when I hear back from Pilkington (tomorrow or Friday) I'll ask what discount(s) is available for multiple pieces as well as shipping to the PNW....

Call around to different shops. 510 windshields are fairly easy to get here. And most likely pilkington.

I guess you didn't see my post. You could have had it installed already. Why would do you deal with shipping.
