Oh and as far as the yellow inner lights, I got mine off of an old Merc from pull-a-part for about $4 each. If you go that route as opposed to LED. But you probably already knew that you could use those.

We don't the have any old stuff around here like that. If we did I'd go find an old e30 and use all 4 of those lights.

New Wagner yellows are like $10 all over the place. Although, Mercedes yellows would be nicer.

My brother used Mercedes on the Backwoods 521.

I will let that sit for a day or two and do the final sand and paint to the wheel.

Also...After pondering what I wanted to do with my headlights.

I originally wanted H4 outers with yellow middles to use as DRLs.

After what Jacob said, archaic lights vs. more modern, I think I'll look at something different.

H4 outers, and H1 inners for high beams...Housings made by the same manufacturer.

Question though...Do the outers get a high beam signal when the highs turn on?
If they did, and the high beam on the H4 activated at the same time as the inners I would need to only do the pin-out swap to make everything work.

K. That will be the route I take then.

For now...Steering wheel fix. Garage clean up/modifications.

Next...Dash removal/electrical repairs. Steering wheel mounting. Modification to pedals.

Next, next...Engine removal/5 speed swap.

There is a gap or two created by the Gorilla Glue expanding. I'll get back to this thing another time and full those gaps.

For now, very impressed for a cheap fix. After I fill in the gaps I'll paint the spaces and gaps with some black Testors.

Cheers!

More reason to never use Gorilla Glue. I only will use it on ugly things.

E6000 is probably the adhesive I would have used.

I asked tons of people. The only consistent reply was Gorilla Glue.

I asked a handful of interior guys-all said GG.

I'm fine with the turnout. $30 wheel, $3 repair.

It's Kevin's hoist. I have no clue. I don't own one myself.

I did use my HF aluminum 2 ton Jack and some HF Jack stands.

HF 27mm socket for the crank bolt.
