Lol. Kevin posted more pics on my thread over at Ratsun.
L16 is disassembled all the way to block.
Plan was pull motor for 5 speed. Then reinstall in one shot. Saw too many leaks to not do something about it.
Plans now for drivetrain...Reseal L16. Install 63A dogleg. Install.
New bolts. New mounts. New-to-me engine harness.
Plans after/during...Install modern lighting. Fix electrical nuances. Drive.
Short term goal is Canby in a Datsun.

Nothing to report.
Clean-up commences as soon as I get back home. Prep engine for a new coat of paint. Reassemble.
Nothing exciting at this point. Just watching the paint stripper kick in.

Unexpected delivery today. Hot Wheels trading done properly!

It is not as teal as it looks in the pic. Looks pretty close to what I remember Datsun green/blue looking.
Brought home tons of cleaning supplies from work. Wire brushes, roloc discs, brake clean, degreaser, masking tape, etc.
Hopefully going to make some progress this weekend...If I'm not too terribly sore from work.

Nice. I've been wanting to do Solex locks on mine. Be sure to let us know if there's any complications to be aware of when you do the install.
