Haha well I'm hopeing to reach somewhere around 100 after it's all said and done. But I'm already pretty happy with the motor, so it's just going the get better from here

Puns that Craig deck still in box on eBay for $40, it sounds awesome too.

Me too dude! I've really missed these cars and the people. But my diversion from datsuns was a 94 4x4 hard body straight axle project with a vg33 swap lol

haha. you can reach that HP easily man and then some.

Specially if you invest in the TOMEI shit.... There was a build on facebook the other day and the A series was pushing around 180 HP or some shit.. Totally doable.

Hmm anything over that will be gravy!

What parts would you suggest? I'm going to run custom pushrods from smith brothers, then the dual springs and lifters are still up in the air. Tomei for 260, nismo for 205, or gx model for 165. I don't see a world of difference between the three as far as specs. Then lifters... still reading and trying to figure out what to get lol

I'm glad I have people cheering me on, it makes the build even more fun.

Found some awesome blankets to cover my back seat when I went camping for the holiday. I may make them permanent lol they match my car perfectly lol

I finally got the lights wired for my gauge pod, then I changed them to blue leds. I also put one in the climate controls. I have the ones for the cluster too, but I want to get needle paint to match the other gauges before I take the cluster out to swap them. Then I have to order one to fit the tach as well. But I love the color, it actually looks way better than the pics

I finally got a hub adapter to put my momo in thanks to izzo. It's a huge improvement, it changed the whole feel of driving my car. Then just for the hell of it I got the cassette tape from guardians of the galaxy on amazon lol

So a couple updates after canby. I finally found 280z seats, not black like I originally planned tho. But after cleaning them I really love the brown so I ordered vynle paint to match my interior to them. I also scored a shift knob from a roadster to match, the green matched my switched too

Congrats! I loved the Z seats in my 1200. Knob looks great too.

So I went on a spending spree today haha I'll post everything eventually. But for now some eye candy I picked up from wayno today. A set of complete a-series flat top su's, they even have the whole smog system intact. It's likely they came on an imported motor and were removed. They're dirty but they're going to be beautiful with a nice cleaning. I had a similar set on my L20 in my 620 that were even dirtier before, those ones cleaned up and ran amazingly. I'm very excited to get these things ready to run, su's are my preferred upgrade for so many reasons. This build is falling into place exactly the way I hoped and way faster than I expected. The last pic is the flat tops I had for my old L20 after they were cleaned up
