While not this car, years back I bought a few GX's for the 5 speeds and threw 4 speeds back in and resold them to get the trans for free and usually some $ on top. first thing to note.....you can not just flip the cross member..it still puts the motor too far forward...thats the hold up right now.
but if your keeping track there are now two ka24e and a vr6 sitting in front of this car

interesting fact...the b210 strut towers are 1 inch closer to the core support than those on a 510 wagon
also 1 inch away from the firewall

bolted the crossmember into place and i am happy with the motor placement
