Re: Just another car I'll never finish.
I'll be keeping it for a while longer. Mainly because I'm running out of time so I won't be able to prep it for sale. I won't likely be doing anything to it for the remainder of 2017 except drive it.

At least you can get desolate tax on it while living in Idaho when you do decide to sell.

I know, sucks. I figured if I decide to sell I'll bring it back down here where there's more potential buyers and leave it with my brother. Seems that Idaho Datsun prices are almost as ridiculous as California but the cars just sit on the market. Nothing looks to sell very quickly either. Plus, most are junk anyway. As a general rule, Idaho cars are pretty beat. I plan to do my future used car shopping in the Portland area.

Squinting don't even help me.

I'm next to the red Firebird on the end.

LOVE the two lane goodness around here! Ran to the next little town over for some fresh donuts this morning. Stretched it out to the high side of 100 a couple times. Almost forgot how much fun this car is to drive.

Was going to ask how it was. But looks like Idaho is doing you some good.

So far it's treating me well.
Swapped out the skinnys for the homemade roadster wheels. Giving up that flexy sidewall sure makes it more rattly. Handles way tighter though.

This morning I put it in my dad's barn for the winter. It might not stay warm but at least it'll be dry. Doubt I even put 100 miles on the clock since I got over here.

Re: Just another car I'll never finish.
I saw my car last week for the first time in almost 8 months. It looks absolutely horrible. I didn't pop the hood but I opened the door. Filthy inside too. Also looks like a cat sprayed my wheels. Hoping they clean up but nervous about rust. My dad's farm just went up for sale so I'll need to get it out soon. Probably tow it to his house, give it a cleaning inside and out, see if the battery will charge, then stuff it in the corner of my garage. Planning some cosmetic upgrades next winter. Likely going up for sale next spring.
