Oh dear..

You can... However they would be considered custom plates.. and you'd have to pay the custom plate fee at every registration. Unless.. you bought the car had the title in your name, then did the plate transfer. That might be an option also. If the plates however are considered 'dead', you have to pay the fee every 2 years.Laecaon wrote:I wonder if I could swap those plates to my car...

DRIVEN wrote:The DMV let me do that back when I had my 240Z. Treated them like vanity plates though. Extra fees every time I renewed the tags.
DMV wrote:$124 per set ($100 surcharge + $24 plate fee). A $100 surcharge is a one-time surcharge. It is the same for both two-year and four-year (new vehicle) registration periods.
Surcharge Supports: Oregon State Capitol Foundation and the Oregon Historical Society.
Available For: Regular Passenger Vehicles only, no custom plate option. Limited edition so only 40,000 sets available.

Its clear you have never been a serious bike rider... Go bike for a few months with it being your primary mode of transportation. You will learn the flipside of the rules.draker wrote:Yes, but yellow on blue is more period correct. But either one is better than the tree. More fee's are lame..
I don't mind the bike plates... I just don't like bikers. I'd share the road, IF YOU WOULD STOP FLYING THROUGH RED LIGHTS AND STOP SIGNS.
