The Blue gO_0n Build?
The Blue gO_0n Build?
Well I picked my goon up a little over a year ago in March. Did a manual swap and put a L20 in, The L20 shortly after that took a shit. Went back to the L16. I am now in the process of gathering all the parts I need for my KA swap. I have a pretty clean KA head and am picking up a rebuilt block sometime next week.
I don't really have time to explain all the details, So I will just list everything that's been done.
Engine and Tranny: L16, Weber, Matchbox, and dogleg 5 speed.
Suspension: Shortened 280zx struts with MR2 Kyb agx inserts, Egay coil sleevs, 4" blocks with 3* of angle for the rear, and monroe air shocks.
Wheels & Tires: Advan A3a 13x6 +6.
Interior: Mostly stock, Mr2 seats, Grant wood wheel, and some really thick Volvo door seals.
I will let pics tell the rest...Tried to list them in chronological order as best I could.
The day I got it.
The move.
Black back seat to get rid of the ugly blue.
Buffed it out and some new shoes.
Got hit.
Wink mirror.
Had to go with the stockers for a little bit while I got tires for my new wheels.
Getting rid of this badass dual exhaust
The L20 fiasco.
More new wheels.
MR2 seats.
L20 took a shit, L16 back in.
The KA, Now a parts engine for my rebuilt block.
The awesome Volvo door seals!
Civic center console.
Wood wheel.
Finned valve cover.
New wheels again.
Wrecked into a curb.
Now to fix it all.
Shortened zx struts in.
4" blocks in.
Back on the ground.
Oh whats that? New wheels again...
Whew I am done for now. Will post updates as they come...
