Yeah I think it looks good too. Just don't paint all the bolt heads blue.

Still a little grey under there. I ran out of paint, but it's not bare metal under there.. and it's not visible. I'll leave it.

I cleared the parts with high temp clear. It toned them down a bit.

Now you have to paint the rest of the engine compartment, better get more paint.

lol.. some day. The rest of the bay is pretty clean actually. The frame rails could use some love.. but overall pretty good.wayno » Sun Dec 27, 2015 12:31 am wrote:Now you have to paint the rest of the engine compartment, better get more paint.
When the time comes and I get serious about paint, I'll strip it and paint it with something with hardener in it.

I would consider the arm rests the easy part.. been looking for this door panel for almost 3 years.

Shouldn't be too tough. Just widen your search. I used some from a B210 that are close enough I can't tell the difference.draker » Sun Dec 27, 2015 9:29 pm wrote:I just need to find some arm rests and I'll be good to go!
Progress looks great!

Did the high temp clear need to be baked? If not, what kind did you use?
The clear I've been using won't cure.

What I'm saying is did you have to bake it on? The stuff I used on some parts said it needed to be baked on but I don't have a way to do that and it's still kinda tacky/sticky after many months. If it doesn't cure out I'm taking it down to bare metal and redoing it.
