1972 CT70

Post by z chopper »

well it's not a Datsun but still fun. It will be a slow moving project as I am gonna be getting a 521 soon and my $$ will be going to that first. But if all goes right I'll have this in the bed of the truck like many people have customized sport bikes in their show trucks

just sitting here looking at my CT70 and a crazy thought popped into my mind for a "what if" paint scheme. What if BRE had a pit bike for at the races to go get refreshments etc.. and if they did would it have been a CT70? Though I am sure they would have had a CT70H with 4spd manual trans, I plan on building this bike for street duty for getting to and from work. I plan to have it registered as a scooter, so a 49cc with auto trans will be put in place.

I like those cheap chinese repop honda motors, alot of em say 49cc but they are 110cc lol. And a verry close copy of the hoda single.
On the bre scheme... yes... fuck yes doit. Kinda upset I didnt think of it.

Cool project - I like the BRE pit bike idea a lot

My first vote would be for #46 ... but #85 would be a close second.
