The stock Hardbody rims are offset around the calipers to fit them.
Dual piston HB clappers won't fit most 14" wheels. And some 15s don't work either.

Offset is key.

Then once I have tags it's game on! I've got 6 or 7 weeks left to finish the swap so I'm still on target!

I was thinking the same thing.

My cousin knows a guy who swapped in a mk3 VR6 into a 88 Jetta. The VR6 was cleaner at the tail pipe without a cat than the stock 8valve was with a cat.

The walboros, and holleys ar both loud, but if mounted correctly you can cut out the vibrations and it quites them down a whole lot.

I think I'm honestly just gunna use a JY pump..... $25 and i get the mounting brackets too, then if it goes out i can get a brand new one from the stealership

I have never understood why people want to use a used master cylinder.

It's the heart of your braking system.
Maybe I've just seen too many bad things.
It just scares me. I'm a wimp that way, I guess.
