I'm in Tri-Cities.

I'm in Grand Coulee. Been wanting to have a small bbq/get together at my shop. I'm just a bit apprehensive having a bunch of strangers in the shop..

we had a ratsun meet at my shop and i was apprehensive at first .... but it turned out great ...everyone was very fascinated and respectful and had a good time....i dont regret having everyone there ......well except banner ... he got beard hair in my work station....grand coolee holds the only casino that ever has paid me money.....it wasnt much ut it was something.......we used to go to banks lake all the time and alot of my jet boat buddies still do .....i haven't been over there in a few years

I am a meter and relay technician - I work in the electrical utility industry testing and calibrating protective relays and meters.

The shop keeps me from losing my mind out here.


I really like the idea of having a bbq at the shop. Wondering what when to do it so I can get some people out here..

It was the mule that moved and built the shop for the first 8 months!

I fixed this porch swing up for a buddy's wife.


It is nice having wheels on industrial machines, especially once you have 4 or 5 of them in the shop. I'm not aware of a nice off the shelf solution, so I rolled my own. The only drawback is the casters raised the treadle too high off the floor. So, I dropped the treadle.

Looks like you've made yourself at home. How do you like the HF box? Looks like a 44" from here. I was thinking about picking up a pair for the home shop but was curious about how they hold up. My initial impressions were that they were pretty decent for the money.

For the money they can't be beat! I use it for mill tooling and it works great!!

Good buddy picks up stools when he comes across them. This one had no seat, so I made one.




The plan for the wood working room was to put together a cyclone style dust collection system. I bought this cyclone on ebay, made an adapter to mount the blower from a dust collector I already owned, fabricated a mount for it all and a dust bin and then shortened the remaining filter assembly to mount in the loft above the wood shop. The filter setup should only have to catch the very fine dust that doesn't fall down the cyclone. I plumbed the system with 6" S&D pipe and blast gates from ClearVue.
