I've done a few engine bays and a lot of Bondo work. It definitely looks better in pictures and from 10ft away. The $15 Harbor Freight HLVP spray gun couldn't spray the roof for shit. So I had to quickly get my old siphon feed gun to work, before clear coating the roof. That's why I sprayed all the panels hanging up-right.
I spent at least $800 on paint/primer/thinner/bondo/sand-paper/stripper/etc ... so I should have bought a better paint gun ...

Re: Indy's 2dr 710 named "Jigokuhemichidzure"
I had the same problem with my HVLP, the primer was coming out like cottage cheese, I asked the paint store about it and they said there was a reason that they didn't sell HVLP systems, they didn't lay the paint/primer out smooth.
I had another paint gun that worked fine using my compressor, now it sprays on smooth, well mostly anyway.
I have not yet sprayed the paint yet, I keep finding places that need to be fixed before the paint.
Yours looks good though, my truck looks way better from across the street, I think I will have to spray mine off white.

When the only tool you have is a hammer every problem starts to look like a hippy.
